PGI, also known as the Poddar Group of Institutions, Jaipur, is a private institution that was founded in 1998. It has NAAC accreditation and is accepted by the AICTE, PCI, and NCTE. PGI has affiliations with the University of Rajasthan, Rajasthan ILD Skills University, Rajasthan Technical University, and Rajasthan University of Health Sciences. Under its several member colleges, the institute provides undergraduate, graduate, certificate, and diploma programs in subjects like management, art, design, pharmacy, journalism, and more.

In order to provide both industry-specific and employability choices, the Poddar Group of Institutions was founded with the goal of providing Purposeful Education through a range of undergraduate and graduate programs as well as upscale research programs. By focussing on value-based programs that prepare students for start-ups and make them corporate-ready, the institution was established to close the gap.

Additionally, PGI developed the Biotechnology Business Incubation Centre and purchased a significant project from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Additionally, it recently got projects from ICSSR for "Waste Management" and NTPC for "Promoting Sustainability through Compostable Bags." Additionally, the Poddar Group of Institutions has inked Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with prestigious universities, institutions, and multinational corporations (MNCs) such as the University of Indonesia, Harvard Business School, GeSS Education, Amist University, Indicaa Group Ltd, PropertyPistol.com, AJMS, and others for student exchange programs, internships, and trainings.
