The FR. C. Rodrigues Institute of Technology (FCRIT), Navi Mumbai, was founded in 1994 as part of the Agnel Technical Education Complex in Vashi, the center of Navi Mumbai. FCRIT is connected with Mumbai University and provides five undergraduate engineering programs (Computer, Mechanical, Electronics and Telecommunications, Electrical, and Information Technology), as well as two postgraduate engineering programs (Mechanical and Electrical Engineering).
