Doranda College is a coeducational institution in Ranchi, Jharkhand, that was founded in 1962. The institution became a constituent college of Ranchi University in 1977. Undergraduate and graduate courses in a range of subjects are available at the college. It also provides vocational courses like BBA, BCA, IT, TTM, and OMSP, as well as a diploma program in retail management.

At the undergraduate level, the college offers a B.Com. with five specialisations and a BA with seventeen. The college provides M.Sc. programs in five specialisations and MA programs in thirteen specialisations at the postgraduate level. With the exception of MBA and B.Ed. programs, admission to undergraduate and graduate programs is determined by grades earned in pertinent topics during intermediate and graduation, respectively.

In addition, Doranda College plans to expand courses in computer applications, fashion design, and rural development, as well as launch a graduate degree in hotel management. In addition to conventional and vocational courses, remedial courses are offered to students who fall under the SC, ST, or OBC categories. Regarding the college's accomplishment, it is putting together a proposal to enhance the college-level talent development program under the Digital India project.
