J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology is the current name of YMCA University of Science and Technology (YMCA UST).In 1969, the YMCA University of Science and Technology (YMCA UST) was founded. A University Grants Commission recognition has been granted to YMCA UST. It is situated in Haryana's Faridabad. The AICTE has authorised YMCA UST. The NAAC has granted it accreditation.
YMCA UST is a cooperative effort between the Haryana government, the Central Agencies for Development Aid, Bonn, Germany, and the National Council of YMCAs of India. It began as an Indo-German initiative to provide India with technical education along German lines. Numerous undergraduate and graduate degrees are available via YMCA UST. Every year, YMCA UST holds admissions for certain courses.

The placement cell at YMCA UST aims to provide its students with adequate employment opportunities and world-class training in leading organizations.Industrial training is provided to the students for one semester which is useful in giving them an on-hand experience. The institute completed its 2021 placement drive & a total of 464 students were placed by reputed recruiters. Students bagged the highest CTC of INR 29.90 LPA. The highest number of students were placed by Cognizant Technology Solutions Noida followed by Tata Consultancy Services Gurgaon.
