The Poona College of Arts, Science, and Commerce was founded in 1970 by a Philanthropic Charitable Trust committed to the noble cause of orphans and the underprivileged. The institute was recognized by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) of Bangalore in 2004 and received the prestigious 'A' grade. The college provides undergraduate and graduate programs in a variety of subjects, including computer science, electronics, organic chemistry, zoology, economics, English, Urdu, and commerce. Aside from that, it offers professional courses such as B.B.A, B.C.A, B.Sc. (Computer Science), and M.Sc. (Computer Science). Poona College also provides B.Voc. courses across four fields. Admission to the courses provided will be determined by the candidate's performance in the prior qualifying examination.The college has a placement cell that always guides and assists students with their final placement.
